My 49ers are probably out of the running this year, or it's a small chance if any.

Yes! And stressed. I came into the season with mild expectations. I thought the eagles would finish 11-6 based on their easy schedule. I figured they'd also win the division in part Dallas was due for regression, and the Giants and WFT are.... well the Giants and WFT. I had no expectations for a deep run and I figured it would be a casual season to watch. But that all changed when they started undefeated and we're kicking ass in every stat. The rest of the league, aside from Buffalo and KC, was statistically awful or middling*. Expectations changed to a Super Bowl contending season and maybe even an undefeated season. With expectations so high, watching games is stressful! It doesn't help that they aren't a flashy team. Not many plays are going to make the SC highlight reel. Just well executed get-the-job done football. Good for stats, but scoring doesn't feel as exciting... does that make any sense. And the defense can be frustrating at times. They either make a 3andOut stop, or they let the other team march down the field. Bend-but-don't-break defenses aren't Philly fans style, even if it gets the job done. Perhaps the most frustrating part is, despite being 8-1, they've only played one game with four quarters of solid football. The rest of the games are strong first halves (read: second quarter), followed by strong defense and limp offense in the second half. It works... but its frustrating. *Granted a few teams have started to do better. But like it's still mostly PHL, KC, BUF in an obvious top tier, with a big gap to the next tier.

For comparison the stats I'm using for comparison is Defense EPA/play and Offensive EPA/play.
That next statical layer down are the Titans and... Bengals (surprisingly) And below that is 49ers, Ravens, daLLas, and Dolphins

I'm normally a broncos fan (sorry) but this year I just haven't been paying that close of attention. Sounds like the eagles are on track for a good season, though. That's something I'll celebrate!

There are only two games left on the schedule that worry me. And the upcoming titans game is one of them. ME2EE PE

The Titans are one of those teams who aren't among the best, but whom no one wants to play. They gave KC all they wanted, but didn't stop Mahomes when it mattered.

Titans need Burks to have any chance of offensive production. Teams will load the box and we'll end it at 3rd and 8 every time. Then nobody can get open. Titans will win the division but it'll be a first round exit. Oh well. Going to Nashville Sunday for the Jags game, hopefully we can play as well as the Lions did this weekend... Never thought I'd say that!

Never thought I'd say that! Fans are calling for OC's head. Downing is not very good. But he also hasn't been dealt a great hand. Nobody on the receiving corps has been consistently productive and healthy, and the O line is not what it has been the last few years. Tannehill hasn't been healthy for half the season and Henry can't run the ball if 11 guys are allowed to focus on him alone, and they can with no other playmakers available. I don't think Downing is the answer. But I'm not sure this offense was ever going to be good to great based on the personnel. MAYBE a couple elite OCs could have pulled it off but your average fella ain't gonna cut it.

I think we got lucky that we were sitting on a really good quarterback at third string. But once Purdy was injured, we didn't really have a good option after that. We had a good team this year, but you can only lose so many quarterbacks in a season. Guess I will have to go with Philly for the superbowl.
