txjennah PE was banned from the site. She was a forum mod (mafia). Writeup later.

All of the vets were upset my the sudden capricious banning of two of their own. MeowMeow PE started looking at the history of the sites HBOG bought out. It was a disturbing records of indexing all of the webpages on search engines and loading ads upon ads onto the forums pages. Who cares about community when they can force ad clicks. Dothracki PE was pissed and called the site admins out on their "business model". And he got banned from ArchetictBoards for his trouble. It stirred a fire in his belly, he was going to create a better architect forum. A forum with blackjack and hookers. Dothracki PE was lynched by the town. He was a townie. ChebyshevII PE PMP didn't want to cause trouble. In fact he renewed his site membership last month. He wasn't going to cause any trouble. But he was one of many posters tagged in Dothracki PE's announcement. His account was banned in the middle of the night. He tried to figure out how to get a refund for the money he paid to those soul-less a-holes. The steps were clearly laid out in the site Terms of Service. All he had to do was put his request in writing and mail it to Building 8, Jinnah Station, Sør Rondane Mountains, Queen Maud Land, Norway. ChebyshevII PE PMP was killed by the mafia during the night. That was the final straw for the AB posters. They regrouped offline and started working through their options. A few vets elected for the Banzai approach to spamming. It was a real headache for the HBOG admins to clean it up and it diverted attention away from the ad-sales department. Corporate wasn't happy and reassigned txjennah PE to a lower traffic forum. txjennah PE was lynched by the town. She was mafia. |
