This was a feature from the before times as well, where a thread that had a lot of replies in short order would get a tag next to it when viewed in the forum — something like “on fire!” With fire emojis. It mainly occurred for the spam thread but it was a fun, quick way to realize what thread had a lot of action going on at the time — aka for spamming, a spam run with friends!
This isn’t a high priority but is something I missed when the New Order took over.

leggo PE, ideally how would you want to see this function work? I'm trying to figure out a way to calculate a "post threshold" based on time created, but that might not be easy to do and maybe I'm overcomplicating it. I can mark a thread as "on fire" based on the number of posts by itself, but I don't think that functions quite like the old forum did...

I've programmed the system to set the forum to the "fire" icon if there are a minimum of 10 posts and there is an average of 5 posts per hour between when the post was first created and now. This might need some tweaking but now that I know how to program it, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think that’s more like it was set up in the before times — it wasn’t that a thread had to be on fire it’s entire existence, but more that it was on fire in that moment. Thanks for all of your help!!

I can try, but I’m not sure if I can get access to that information. I’ll look into it.
